Garden Fungi

Whilst my wife and I were digging out a patch of turf in preparation for erecting a summer house we discovered in a nearby corner of the garden this massive fungal growth in the bushes, where our eucalyptus tree used to stand. I used to love that tree but unfortunately a few years ago when it had grown to quite a height, it was brought down by heavy winds and we had to have it chopped down. However the base of the trunk and roots were not removed as that would have been too major a task. There are bushes which cover over the tree base and it was under them that we found this amazing fungi. I haven't been able to identify it but I suspect t it one of the common varieties but what a crop !
