In place

The new paving is being laid. There's so much involved that only a few can be done each day. The pavers are big and heavy and have to be carefully put in place with a suction device which I'm sure has a name but I don't know what it is. It takes two people to operate it as you can see here. What you can't see is the third person working away on the old garden wall. All the work has revealed more cracks and holes in this 130 year old wall and it is now being strengthened and beautifully re-mortared. Interestingly the spellchecker just changed 're-mortared' to 're-mortgaged'. Hmmm. No comment
