Drum Castle

Yesterday the gardens at Crathes were looking very nice, although a little weather beaten. Today I thought I would check up on Drum Castle, in particular the historic rose garden. There was quite a bit of colour, but the roses are past their best, and very weather beaten.

It started to rain as I was walking round the garden so I made a hasty retreat back to the car in case the rain turned into a downpour. It did not, but we have had some very very heavy showers in the afternoon.
