Mono Monday - People

Dear friend B. is staying and this afternnoon, we visited The North Norfolk Railway (The Poppy Line), which is conveniently situated just down the road.  They were running 'Black Prince' today, but as the Mono Monday theme was people I wanted to give a virtual 'hip hip hooray' to all the volunteers who keep this wonderful railway running.  They are always so cheerful and friendly and the TLC they lavish on this excellent railway makes it such a pleasure to visit.
For those of you who are particularly fond of steam engines, I have added a little information on Black Prince.
92203 was built in 1959 by British Railways, and allocated to heavy iron ore trains on Merseyside. The engine was withdrawn in 1967 and purchased by David Shepherd, who named the locomotive Black Prince.

92203, Black Prince was purchased by The North Norfolk Railway in 2015
