Poppies

I went down to Bucks to see my mother who is in a nursing home.

These poppies are alongside the road between the Chalfonts and I couldn't resist them.

PS interestingly  in Lightroom and the exported jpg image the red channel was not over exposed so there was detail in the red petals.

However,  when I uploaded it to Blip something happened that blew all the red detail away.  People have complained in the past about the Blip colourspace causing problems but this is the first time I have experienced it.  I have reprocessed it and reduced the red channel exposure a little and it has made all the difference
