Red Border at Hidcote

On our way home we decided to visit Hidcote Manor Garden. It didn't disappoint. Beautiful garden "rooms" with so much to see. It's design is Arts and Crafts and was owned and created by Lawrence Johnston, but is now owned by the National Trust. 

His mother bought the house in 1907 and Lawrence set about turning the fields into the garden it is today.

A lovely end to our weekend.
