Washing Line

I've lived in the house 20 months and just got round to getting a washing line. I do have a rotary line in the garage and I bought a new spike but the ground is so hard I couldn't get it in. I decided I would try and put up the washing line myself. I do have very helpful neighbours. I tried putting it up with my electric screwdriver but it didn't work I needed a drill. I went to the local hardware shop that sells everything including the washing line and bought a hand drill, I don't trust myself with an electric drill!!!!! I remembered to buy drill bits came home and it's up and it works!!!! I am really pleased with myself. Just need to do some washing now and buy a prop.
