Abstract Thursday : monster

Well that's reading done for this year. These are the last 3 books with the girls, it's taken a while for Wind in the Willows but as I'd never read it I really enjoyed it. The 6 year old read the Ugly Duck thing a monster of a sort!!! At the start she couldn't read a word but now she's grown in confidence and concentration she looked so proud showing the book to her teacher and getting lots of praise, I had tears in my eyes!!!! I was given the chocolates from the head teacher as a thank you which was totally unexpected, will enjoy tucking into them on holiday with a glass of wine. Really hope this weather stays for the next week.
