Grubby Faces.

It was raining with a touch of sun trying to struggle through when I fed the birds this morning.  It continued much the same all day with the addition of a howling gale this afternoon. I have been watching my trees wiggle in the ground like loose teeth - hope they stay upright.

I had to laugh at the birds as I tried to get a pic from a dry corner of the deck. There was a block of fat on the feeder which the birds  have been enjoying, but when  I put out seeds, the seeds stuck to their greasy little faces, looking like weird growths.

I have tried to capture it, but with the poor light and the rain, I don't think it is going to show up very well.
