The wind beneath my wings

This young cygnet was having a snooze with his brother when we spotted them at Croome Park near Pershore in Worcestershire.
They then proceeded to stand, stretched their little wings, then they staggered down to the water like two old folk that had been asleep for 15 hours and were rather stiff-limbed.
When we arrived at Croome Park it was bucketing with rain, but one cup of coffee later and the sun came out. Although it wasn't brilliantly warm, it was an improvement on the rain, so we enjoyed a good walk around the parkland.
He looks as if he could do with a bit of moisturiser on his knees.
