Sandwich Terns

The sea was so grey first thing this morning that these sandwich terns, in their breeding plumage, were almost perfectly camouflaged.

The weather forecast for tomorrow is looking slightly better so I'm hoping to have a few more photos to choose from.  I only took a couple of shots of the terns while the weather was dry.  Cameras need to be protected from the rain .... I learned that lesson the hard way.
