I don't know when I was last in the Rutherglen shopping centre but today I was searching for some last minute holiday items (cheap and easily disposable) and the local shopping centre seemed the best place to go.

In the centre there was low fenced off area where the Ayrshire Owl and Raptor centre had a display of smallish owls who were totally unfazed by all the comings and goings of the shoppers.  Anyone who wanted could have their photo taken with one of the owls ..... I just took my own!
