Dahlia

I made a visit to the local garden centre this morning to buy a Japanese Anemone that I hope will fill one of the many gaps in the Elie garden.

I'm not a great fan of dahlias but they do make a spectacular show with their vibrant colours, variety of petal size and shape and with some displaying almost perfect symmetry.

An afternoon watching the Wimbledon men's semi final. Singles are fine but I really enjoy the doubles matches .... the games are so exciting to watch. Looking forward to watching the mixed doubles matches with Jamie Murray in one and Heather Watson in the other.
