The Mew Stone, Start Bay, Devon

In the evening sun the Mew Stone
glows as bright as a new stone.

Hazy sunshine and strong winds today, but the wind dropped in the evening, when we went for our first 'summer walk'. (Halfway through July!!!)

Too windy for more creosoting (except to do the underside of yesterday's bench). Then spent the day gardening. Reduced the size of a camellia that had grown way too tall and wide for the space.

"I'm glad there's no law
against using a saw,"
said Celia,
pruning
the ballooning
camellia.

There! Two ditties in one blip! Howzat?!
