A good day climbing in the Peak District with Peak Mountaineering, (I have been vindicated), and then straight to North Wales as it didn't really make sense to drive south home only to have to go north again in the morning. But the traffic was heavy and it took longer than I thought, hence the stop for a cuppa and chips, with a Scotch egg as an afterthought which arrived with a rather nice salad included in the price.
I pitched in the dry and went more or less straight to bed.

The extra was taken at Stanage, with the course covering belaying, an introduction to placing gear, and creating belays for both single and multi-pitch locations.  Very informative.
