Quod oculus meus videt

Strumble Head and Ynys Onnen

If you don't at first succeed.......well there is always another chance of a sunset the next day.

We spent the day down near Marloes, having gone down to the embarkation point for Skomer Island.  Unfortunately all tickets for landings had been sold for the day, so we were resigned to walking around the headland and looking over to Skomer.  We intend to come back on Thursday in the hope of getting across to see the wildlife and in particular the puffins.

After dinner I again headed for the head and this time was rewarded by some late rays of light.  It was interesting how the cloud seemed to bank up on the horizon, but it was almost clear overhead.
