Just me and the birds today

I went off to a different place for the sunrise this morning. I have always been curious as to what the Kumaras area would look like when full tide and sunrise coincide. It wasn't a big tide but still plenty of water to give a very brief golden glow. The sun was masked by a bit of cloud which probably helped.

Prior to this I took pied stilts sleeping in. See extras. Very little in the way of flying birds and those that did I missed. No people today and no frost as it rained overnight.

A breeze came up with the sun and in the hills behind me a snow shower came down so I headed off home for breakfast.
