Music in the Park

Fortified by a delicious breakfast of coffee, poached eggs, hash browns, fresh tomatoes, and bagels, we set forth to exploring the lovely town of Ashland. After a long, leisurely walk, we wound up, books in hand, in Lithia Park and settled onto a comfortable bench to enjoy the fine weather with our reading material and some solo cello, compliments of a local artist.

Later in the evening, we saw Vietgone, written by Qui Nguyen. We were riveted by the story and the powerful performance. Vietgone may well be my favorite play of all I've seen at the OSF over the last several years.
