Mono Monday - Communication

Ann has an album of postcards collected by her grandmother Daisy. A lot of the cards were sent during the first world war from her husband Will and brother Ted. It's a lovely collection with some quite poignant words especially between Will and Daisy.

This is a small selection from the album. Communication in times long gone.

The words on the back of the bridge postcard, in case you can't see it, says

"Dearest Daisy.
Do you think this PC is anything like Stratford it reminds me of it for there are two bridges there. I only wish I was no further off than S on A. What do say dear
Yours Ever Loving. Will"

It is dated Tuesday April 3/17 Preston
