Robin

He had just eaten a worm and wanted to sleep in the shade; no doubt the considerable midday heat (over 30 degrees) was a factor.  My presence was of little interest to him.

The heat also brought a racing pigeon into my garden.  It looked very tame, and even posed for a few portraits.

An hour or so I was indoors and saw a robin exiting by the back door. Probably the same robin as I had seen before - just hope he doesn't make a habit of it!
