Gillipaw's Journal

Slateford Aqueduct, Union Canal, Edinburgh

We awoke to thunder, lightning and torrential tropical storm conditions. It was so dark. A BBC Scotland reporter said we had gone to sleep in July and woken up in November!

Thankfully the weather cleared in the afternoon for a walk down memory lane. First time I have been back since we sold the family home. The towpath is even busier now, so many cyclists and runners. The verges need cutting back, and the path widened. Considering the usage, I am surprised nothing is being done.

Dinner with #1 this evening. Lovely to see him. I have now been introduced to the Siri feature on my iPhone.
