More like it

More good weather, more barbecue. Such a change from yesterday's torrential rain and lightning when our WiFi router was fried, along with the Raspberry Pi that forms our server and also Mr L's weather station. The landline phone is off but Broadband is still working. The electricity supply dropped out for a while too. All things considered, it was a poor day for Mr L to do work and he missed a conference call that had been booked for the afternoon.

Only 11 days left at his desk now.

Today we began the process of emptying and tidying the garage. The sun made it rather unpleasant to work so hard. Our reward came in the form of a couple of lamb leg steaks and other scorched goodies. These mushrooms, I stuffed with Roquefort and fresh thyme leaves and then wrapped in bacon before cooking. Dessert was in the form of Nectarine parcels, the fruit doused with Fireball cinnamon whisky liqueur before parcelling. Very nice with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

I took photos down at the harbour when we went to recycle our bottle collection first thing this morning. I had hoped for seals but there were none. The photos were largely underwhelming so I resorted to food again for my blip.
