Clean water for villagers

21st July 2016:

The show goes on. These wells were planned for Tuesday but there was a funeral in the area so everything stops.
It was back to Chiguere again to the village of Mapunda, about 75 minutes from the factory, where 185 people will now have clean, safe drinking water, for the first time.

They were slow to put the effort into digging a well as they believed that our pumps would break down like all the rest, but now they have seen their neighbouring villages with clean water they have done it.

The well is 4.8 meters deep and the furthest house is 250meters away.
They have no preschool, while the primary and secondary schools are about 4km away.

It was also noted that they have pears, so we will be doing some exchanges.
