Roebuck

I was out in the garden early to enjoy the sunny and warm day. This Roe buck skipped across the field watched by myself and the horses. I think this is one of last years young. You can roughly age Roe deer by their antlers. The first year antlers are usually very simple with short spikes. They are rugose which means rough or rigged which they lose in the Winter. It takes about 3 months to grow a new set.
The most annoying thing about today was being stung by a wasp, lucky I think I had flicked it away before it could sting me too much !
