Canopy

Up at the buttcrack of dawn, when the sun wasn't even a twinkle in the setting moon's eye, to catch the only flight of the day from Cairns (damp & grey) to Ayers Rock (warm & sunny).
We then fitted* in Mr K's birthday heli flight, lunch and a camel trek (on Hugo the very 'special' dromedary) to dinner** in the shadow of Ayers Rock and then a walk through the art installation 'Field of Light'.
So many blip possibilities, but the sunset was incredible...

* or 'fat' as Little miss bossy's Denglish brain would have it.
** croc, roo & prawn canapés***, pumpkin soup, buffet mains (inc. more roo) & pud, nom nom nom.
*** or canopys as the Teen thought they were called.
