Those hazy days of summer

I'm off to the studio soon with a 24x 36 inch/60.9x91.4cm canvas after 18 months of tiny ones. I'm in the process of ordering more frames like these  for my exhibit of those 20 canvases in September and October. My plan today is to begin a painting based on this recent photograph. I can't wait to paint something larger again.

The weather is going to be so hot today and tomorrow. We're still waiting for the second estimate on the replacement of our ductless AC system.
