Wheat Field Monochrome

It has been some time since I posted a landscape image, so I set out today to remedy this. The crops in the fields are already beginning take on their final form although they are still as yet green. The weather was somewhat mixed with little sign of the sun so there was interest in the sky but little moulding on the ground so I had to create contrast and interest there though use of tractor lines and extensive use of Silver Efex Pro. I can't say it is an accurate rendition of what I could see as it is far more brooding and dramatic but I hope it makes a reasonable image.
