Skopelos Sunrise

All good things come to an end and we were up at 6am to get the 7.15am hydrofoil ferry to Skiathos, to get out midday flight to Gatwick.

The blip photo was taken at Skopelos harbour whilst waiting for the ferry to arrive; no great hardship waiting!  It shows the yachts moored up along the harbour wall with the lovely golden glow of the rising sun behind, with a bird flying across the harbour. It, and the yachts, cast lovely shadows.

The extra is taken from my window seat on the ferry of the sun rising over the cliff just as we leave Skopelos harbour. Both lovely photo's to finish off the holiday.

On travelling from Gatwick we suffered infamous delays on the M25 but it did seem a lot worse for traffic travelling in the opposite direction from London towards the coast. At least it was a safe journey.
