Galápagos day 7

We were so lucky on this trip as we saw most of the incredible wildlife landlocked on the islands. I had to sympathize with these giant land tortoises. They live for up to 150 years trapped in their shells which weigh at least 100lbs. They can hardly move with the weight. It wasn't hard to get really close for this shot as he wasn't going anywhere in a hurry.
