Peace Sells... but Who's Buying?

A view from Megadeth's show in Istanbul at Rock Off Festival. The festival's line-up included Megadeth, Children of Bodom, Sabaton, Dragonforce, Pitch Black Process (Turkey) and You May Kiss The Bride (Turkey). It was a memorable great day because I've seen two of my favorite bands, no need to tell what a metal-nerd I am. 

The significance of the activity was both the bands and the organizers mentioning that we may not be able to see such festivals in Turkey anymore in the following years because of the way politics goes after many terrorist attacks (and also a military coup attempt with many deaths took place 5 days after the festival, what a country). Already Muse, Joan Baez, and Steve Vai canceled their gigs in Istanbul after the coup. I wish the future of the world and Turkey will bring peace, love and more rock n' roll.
