Potato seeds

Who knew that a potato has seeds? Not me. It only stands to reason, but I have never seen for heard of them until these recently appeared on two of our plants. The information I found was quite interesting: http://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/potato/true-potato-seed-growing.htm
Our potatoes are Yukon Golds. 
A client from Montana who is staying in our cabin said when his potato plants produce seeds he tills them into the soil at the end of the year and they grow new plants in the spring.
