UPG 428 F (AC 428)

In the morning we made a visit to see Cosmo and later went out to Aboyne where we visited ArtAboyne.

Before the culture of the art exhibition we had coffee and a cake at the Black Faced Sheep. One of the regular customers appears to have a collection of classic cars, at least one of which I have featured on Blip previously.

Today he was in the cafe, and outside was this AC 428 from 1968. It has a number plate personalised to the car as well. This particular car seems to have been the model road tested in the press at the time of its introduction onto the market. Consequently it features quite prominently on the internet.

Having looked up AC on the internet I find that AC still exist as a car manufacturer on a small scale, but like much of the British car industry AC is now German. The only models they build are replicas of the AC Cobra, possibly their most famous model.
