25 not out....

Pitched up to my 3 month blood donation appointment to be told I'd be making my 25th donation. While I'll be getting a silver card through the post, this personalised card from one of the stars (a.k.a. nurses) made my day.

The NHS now sends a text message telling you when and where your blood pack has been dispatched. My last one went to a children's ward in Lancaster (where I studied)...which more than made up for 50 minutes of minor inconvenience and made me wonder what that young person was going through.

My motto for the day : "...go on do something amazing..."
