Karlsruhe

My favourite wreck of the German WWI fleet in Scapa Flow is the Karlsruhe. She is a light cruiser built in 1916 and scuttled in 1918 after the internment of the German Grand Fleet. She is big enough to be interesting and small enough to make your way around in one dive.

This is the stern, her teak decking is still in place, as is the rudder, but the propellers were removed during the salvage operation. She's a glorious dive, 70 minutes and I loved every one of them :)
