Torran Time

Most of the day was spent with Torran and his mum.  He had some inoculations yesterday and he was feeling a little out of sorts.  Before we went out for our walk, he required a bath and a change of clothes due to a leaky nappy - either they don't make them like they used to or there is a particular side effect of yesterday's jab.

Despite his discomfort, he was generous with his smiles and his chuckles.  He is a joy.

We walked up the Union Canal and had lunch at the Redhall Walled Garden - a wonderful place which specialises in training and support for those dealing with mental health challenges.  We walked back along the Water of Leith to a cafe in Gorgie for some welcome tea and cakes.

Edinburgh is such a surprising place.
