Reynolds Park

I have featured this park before. It really is a gem and the herbaceous borders in the walled garden are amazing. as are the dahlias which are just coming into flower. And this is in spite of the cuts which have left the park with just one (or two?) gardeners. As it happens the head gardener's mother used to be a mature student of one of our friends and he used to baby sit for her son. When I met him today he remembered me from nearly 40 years ago. ("You used to have blond hair").  Unfortunately he wasn't too keen on the idea of me taking a picture of him in his glorious garden. I say "his", but in fact he has a team of apprentice gardeners working with him.
