An evening visitor

In the past eight days I have had two major photo shoots, but haven't had time to keep up with my blip journal or blog. Hoping to get back on track this week. This miniature sized butterfly (moth?) visited the back yard buffet today and hung around long enough for a short photo opp. I don't know the specie, so would appreciate any help with naming it. A hummingbird came by too, but I didn't get a good picture. Tonight's extra photo is another type of bird entirely. It flew over after supper as I was sitting on the back patio.
