Got some front

There is a great familiarity every time I come to Asia given the memories that have built up from living, working and travelling here. This is true even of Singapore where I've never spent more than a few days at a time. The city is easy to operate in and feels remarkably safe and unproblematic compared to most other places in the world. Plus, it's always warm.

I loved these well preserved upper storey shop fronts near my hotel. Cambodia can be a bugger to get to, often requiring a stopover. I drifted enough on the journey here to feel reasonable on arrival, meaning I could function enough to do some work. Not always possible after transferring and zigzagging for hours around Guangzhou, Doha or Kuala Lumpur.
