We said goodbye to Washington DC and travelled to Boston today, ahead of two days exploring how youth volunteering is supported at State level.

A chance for a wander around this glorious city, so full of history, before we headed to a fabulous evening networking event - where it turns out we were the "featured guests".

Co-hosted by World Boston, the United Nations Association of Greater Boston and the Boston Network for International Development, it was a chance to meet so many amazing young students and hear about their experience of "service" and volunteerism.

Such great conversations and brilliant to get direct insight from their varied experiences and backgrounds.

A full on day of meetings and visits tomorrow, organised by World Boston - our hosts for this part of the study visit.
