I have made it through my first week back at work.  Now the end is in sight I found it hard to settle into work after the two weeks of holiday.   I'm now really looking forward to the adventure of retirement.  It's been a wet cold week so far but today I wanted to look at somewhere other than my own garden.  After work I had a brisk walk at the Blue Lake.  The light was very poor.  The tree ferns beside the walking track are much taller than me and have very large fronds.  I felt better for that little time spent in the outdoors.
