Capturing my Journey

By thedoglady

Beautiful evening

A busy day on and off the farm today. Seems so long ago since this morning. Firstly off to the farm where we manage the livestock to get the massey 135 and the haybob. Not any easy task as they were all buried at the back of the shed and the massey still had the fertiliser spreader on it. While husband was greasing up and filling it with fuel i took the dogs for a run on the beach.

Then home to spend 3 hours spreading silage while husband mowed some rushes since he had the mower on. A part did fall off the haybob so phoned local fixers who will hopefully come and weld it tomorrow. Then afternoon dog walk then dinner. Then back ovet to the farm where we manage the livestock to extract the rest of the silage machinery. It took some time with two tractors refusing to start and the wrapper being as wide as the door we wanted to take it out of. Baler is now here but we will have to go back tomorrow to get the other tractor started and the wrapper hitched onto it.

Took this picture this evening from the farm where we manage the livestock. Just went to shut the ducks in to find Tufty the runner duck has come home with 3 little ducklings. We have put them in the shed in the previous duckling pen.

17c sunshine and overcast

Extra im hoping is red sky at night silage makers delight!!
