Golden Cockerel Left

This is one of the new movements in the second part of the Tai Chi.  It is preceded by “Golden Cockerel right” which is the same but standing on the left foot with the right arm and knee raised. After this come three different kicks. 
At first it was really hard to retain my balance as I did these various standing-on-one-foot manouvres but with practice it get easier.  No wonder Tai Chi has been proven to improve balance, especially in older people!
It certainly seems to have omproved our teacher’s balance as he can demonstrate all these moves without a tremor and he’s 75 years old.
