August Moon

I'm one day late for the full full moon, but it looks almost round, and so bright tonight, reflected in the sea. (Last night, when it was full, it was half-hidden by cloud.)

There will be two full moons this month. It happens every two or three years that there's a calendar month with two full moons. When it happens the second is popularly known as a Blue Moon. So look out for a Blue Moon in 29 days' time.
