Langdale Pikes

A friend was due to come to lunch today but got caught in severe traffic in Ulverston caused by an incident at Haverthwaite.  There was no way around so we had to abandon our plans which was a great pity as I hadn't seen her for a while.

Given an unexpectedly free afternoon and lovely weather we ventured into the Lakes.  First stop Blackwell for a cuppa and surprisingly very few visitors there.
