Cottingley Fairies...

Who says there's no fairies in Cottingley!  Hundreds gathered there for the fairy fest today, and this elfin beauty my friends... is the Fairy Queen!  Isn't she just enchantingly stunning!  Oh those plaits!

If anyone doesn't know the story, The Cottingley Fairies were a series of photographs of fairies...taken in the 1920s.  They fooled the photographic experts for decades..... and all without photoshop!

The story was also made into a film, Fairytale: A True Story in which one of my niece's is an extra..... briefly.... very briefly..... :)
