Camping with my boy

Kids finished school today, unfortunately we couldn't join the traditional throng on the field for a picnic after school and we had a Brownie to get to holiday and a tent to pitch for the weekend.

So after a rapid tea we headed off to Ivinghoe to pitch the small tent, home for Will and I for the weekend. We then headed down to Paccar Scout Camp to drop Carys at her pack holiday.

Back at the campsite Will went to bed quite easily, if not to sleep (he was still awake at 09.45) while I sat outside in the warmth, enjoying my book and a glass of red. A good if hectic start to the summer holidays.
