The Blue Angels are here for their annual gas guzzling sky polluting high flying zooms and zaps over the city - they are pretty amazing at the same time. This guy had his eyes glued on an open patch of sky through the trees, as experience teaches that you need to spot in one direction if you are to get a brief sighting - and it is so so fast.

Today and tomorrow are practice days - practice???? - and Saturday and Sunday are performance at the crazed hydro plane races. This is not a weekend for shells like mine, nor for quiet.
