'Will you walk into my parlour?' said the Spider

I was nt going to blip this small tortoiseshell butterfly at first as I had a couple more photos that I liked but when I looked at it on the computer and saw the lovely blue hearts on it's wings and the little spider it had to be my blip.
We had run out of eggs so went along to the Egg Box where they have a vending machine but it was out of order.
We went to the little pottery shop in Cromarty and the gallery, the lane looked very pretty with the bunting still up from the Gala week.Over 1200 metres, that's about 3/4 of a mile had been cut and stitched by some of the Committee Members to make the town look colourful and bright.
We went to find Cullicudden graveyard  and found it down the end of a long track. The ruins of the church are within the stone walls with a lintel over the doorway 'which dates the church from 1609 although there are earlier burial stones in the burial ground.' Lots of interesting stones to look at. A female yellowhammer was singing beautifully on the old stone wall.
We were lucky with the weather as the sun did come out and we got back to the car before the rain. The sun lit up the fields of ripening crops beautifully.
