Seljestad cottages

Each garden possessor would wish to have a rockery similar to the vegetation on the mountains.
Unfortunately, it rained every time we were climbing or descending and exactly at that time we came along. A photo wouldn't show the beauty anyway.
We've cycled up two mountains. The first ascent went slowly uphill and the second ascent had lots of hairpin bendings.  A lot of altimeters in a short time. We had to get around the tunnels, because most of them are  prohibited for bicyclists. To avoid them there are the old main roads going much higher than the tunnelled new roads. They also lead you over the pass, a beautiful wilderness. It is a strenuous trip to the top, but once up,  we are impressed by the rocks, the waterfalls and the snow.

The rain made us decide to book a hytte for tonight. We were in need of a  nice hot shower and dry clothes.
