Almost Symmetrical

Maybe I should change the name of my blip to Almost.. but I like being Auslaender.

I spent the first 30 seconds after the alarm rung this morning thinking "Already?"  But it was a decent morning and I made it into work for 7. 

A quiet day where I just got on with things.

And then there was a bizarre photograph. 

After lunch Ilike to have a read of the news and I saw an article in The Guardian that mentioned that the Green Party in Germany was calling for a fast track to citizenship for applicants from Britain.

The article contained a photo from a demonstration in Berlin, apparently  from just after the Stay-or-Go Referendum.  The photo shows a group of people waving home made placards in front of the Brandenburg Tor.  There are a few weak puns but what struck me was 1. A demo in Berlin where every placard was in English and 2. what exactly was the young chap trying to say with his?
